Mayo\nF26 X9A0 \nFAQ’s\nHow long have SSC been running camps?\nFollowing the huge success of our camps over the last 7 years in the Isle of Man and 17 years in the UK\, we have  now organised a Summer Soccer Camp in Belmullet\, Co. Mayo\, Ireland  for 2024.  \nWho is the camp for?\nBoys & Girls of ALL ABILITIES aged between 4-15.  \nHow long is the camp for?\nThe camp will run for 5 days from 10:00am – 3:00pm.   \nWhat’s involved?\nThe unique practice techniques that we use are specifically designed to work with children of ALL ABILITIES\, ranging from the complete beginner to the more advanced player. \nThe camp is tightly structured with the children fully supervised at all times. This means that parents can go to work or have a relaxing day\, as the camp is run by our professional qualified F.A. coaches. All coaches are DBS checked and currently work with children on a daily basis\, enabling players to learn essential football techniques\, together with a “fun” element. \nWhat can the kids expect?\nAll aspects of the game are covered including; dribbling\, passing\, shooting and more. Each child will be provided with a football during skill sessions. Kids will play matches & fun games every day.  There are lots of competitions such as penalty shootout\, American Shootout\, tournaments as well as our fun soccer inflatables!! \nWhat should children wear?\nThe camp is held outdoors on football pitches\, so children may wear: \nTrainers or football boots\n(If your child wears football boots to the camp\, please make sure they also bring trainers) \nSuitable Outdoor Clothing\nPlease dress according to the weather each day and bring a change of clothes for alternate weather in case the forecast changes.  \nShin pads – if possible.  \n  \nDo children need to bring a packed lunch?\nYes – children need to bring a packed lunch and extra snacks for break times\, along with plenty of drinks (No fizzy drinks please) \nWhat time is lunch?\nLunch will be from 12:00pm – 1:00pm each day as well as 2 snack breaks either side of lunch.  \nDo children receive awards?\nYes – Every child receives a… \n\nTrophy\nCertificate \n\nThere are many opportunities to win extra trophies and medals in competitions such as WORLD CUP tournament\, penalty shoot out\, American Shoot-out\, Player Of The Camp and more!!  \nEvery child can test their shot speed in our INFLATABLE SPEED GOAL \nOn the final day of the camp\, a presentation ceremony will be held at 2:00pm.  \nParents/Carers and other family members are more than welcome to attend the presentation.  \nWhat will my child need to bring?\nAs mentioned above\, a change of clothes is always a good idea\, in case we get caught by a heavy shower. \nWhat happens if it rains?\nThe camp will still go ahead! We do have use of indoor facilities\, however all of the children can’t play in the sports hall at the same time. If the rain is heavy children will be taken indoors to either play football or the coaches will keep the children entertained with quizzes and fun games until the rain passes or is light enough to play in.  \nIs there an Early Bird discount?\nYes!
